In my
last posting I wrote about ‘The Light in London’.
During my early March ‘Anniversary’ visit there we also talked about ‘What is
a Star Centre?’. Everyone offered their ideas which Colum wrote up on a flip
chart. There were some great thoughts—often pictorial!
* A centre of stars
* A web of relationships
* A magnet that draws people together
* A sanctuary of unconditional love
* A place where those we love in other
worlds will visit
…… and the one I like most of all
* A beehive of golden honey!
I love
the way this image brings the feeling of busy service (all those bees busy at
their work of creating honey!). It also has the feeling of nurture and
enfoldment in a safe space which the enclosed shape of a beehive brings. Then
there is the golden honey—symbol of the unconditional love of God perhaps.
I have
just returned from one of our European Star Centres—in Munich
Germany.
Whilst there, I was thinking about these evocative descriptions. Many of those
who attended our ‘Brotherhood Day’ usually work physically alone but linked
together by our love of White Eagle’s teaching, and the magical power of the
Star. We truly are part of a worldwide web of light that now reaches across the
whole planet. The internet can link everyone on a mental level at just the
touch of a button. Emails and other forms of communication and the social media
have changed our world. The power of the Star is changing it in another way. We
can reach out to one another in our hearts at any time. The Star is like a
magic button:
Think
Star.
Send
love from your heart.
The
magical connection happens.
I like
to think we can all be a beehive of golden honey—a ‘Star Centre’ in our own
way—and create our own inner ‘hive’ from which golden light and love shine
across the world!
