‘The Star is the Creator of Miracles’

These words from White Eagle came into my mind as I was preparing for our Festival of Carols in the London Lodge on Sunday 16th December. I have honestly found that no matter what problem we are facing individually or worldwide, if we can concentrate our thoughts upon a shining six-pointed Star it can indeed bring about miracles—changes in understanding, forgiveness, healing and peace. I’d like to share with you White Eagle’s inspiring interpretation of the inner meaning of the three gifts of the Wise Men which I spoke about during the London service.

In the traditional Christmas story the three Wise Men followed the Star to find the birth place of Jesus. White Eagle says that the gifts they brought him are symbolic of the gifts given to all human beings when they come into incarnation on earth. They are symbolic as well, I think, of the gifts that we can give to the world as we ‘follow the Star’.

The third gift of myrrh is deeply significant—the gift of pain as White Eagle explains, but through this comes deepening understanding—our hearts are opened one for another (as has been happening recently with the tragic shootings in America). This gift of deeper understanding is one that we can give to everyone around us at Christmas time. The gift of Frankincense brings the wisdom and inspiration of heaven through its sweetness. I feel sure that our minds will be filled with the sweetness of the spirit this Christmas time and it will enable us to, in turn, give this gift to all our loved ones and friends, and it’s special gentleness and wisdom will radiate out in the light we send to the world. And then, that amazing gift of gold!—the unconditional love and light of God which we can give from our hearts at all times and particularly over Christmas.

White Eagle’s words about these gifts—see below—come from his book Festivals & Celebrations available from (www.whiteaglepublishing.org)

The Wise Men

‘When the Wise Men came to Jesus they brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. The treasure which mystics of all ages seek is the gold within the soul. All true aspirants seek to transmute the base metal within their being into pure gold of the spirit, and the Wise Men bring to you the gold which enables you to transmute the base metal in your souls into pure gold.
They bring you frankincense too, the gift of gentleness and sweetness. This sweet fragrance the wise teachers, the radiant ones, bring to you for you to absorb into your soul.
They bring yet another gift, the gift of myrrh, bitterness. Some people call it sorrow and pain. All brothers, at some time, feel pain, and this brings understanding and sympathy; pain is necessary for the soul, so that it may grow spiritually and emotionally. Through what you call sorrow, the soul enters into joy.
These beautiful gifts the Wise Men bring to the Christ child which is born in the cave. In the cave of the heart, the Christ child is born: deep, deep within your own soul. And to everyone, when the Christ child awakens, or is born in the heart, there follows the visitation of the Wise Men with their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Therefore, my children, we welcome with deep gratitude these gifts, which bring to us the way of illumination, the way of life, the way of happiness.
Also on our website you will find information about our special Winter Solstice attunement in the Temple at New Lands on Friday 21st December at 11.50am and don’t forget our special Festival of Carols in the Temple on Sunday 23rd December at 4.30pm! Come early…it is always full!

I send you all, from my heart, love and warm Christmas greetings.

Magical Days in Denmark

My cousin Jeremy and I have just spent five magical days at our Star Centre in Denmark. Visiting at this Advent time is very special. Winter sunshine and glistening snow have lit up the beautiful countryside and seashore where our ‘Polaris Centre’ is sited (about an hour’s drive outside Copenhagen). Just near the Centre is an ancient standing stone (see picture). Our leader, Grethe, reminded me that this (with its cross within the circle symbol ingrained in the stone) was one of the ‘signs’ which confirmed for her (and her husband Rolf, now in spirit) that this was the place for the White Eagle home in Denmark.
Now, nearly fifteen years later, the Pole Star does indeed shine brightly there, leading ‘wise men and women’ forward on their spiritual pilgrimage. Amazingly, and cleverly created within the Centre’s building, is a beautiful ‘Wisdom Temple’ with zodiac signs around the dome and winged disc above the entrance. Rolf—the creator of this—now works in his body of light in the heavenly Wisdom Temple and his presence was very evident to me during our visit. He left his physical body in January this year, but his ‘earthly Temple’ is his lasting gift of extraordinary artistry and creativity and I know it will uplift and inspire many hearts throughout the years ahead. I have such a strong feeling of thankfulness to our beloved Brother Nobleheart! (as White Eagle calls him).

A Meditation on Thankfulness

On the day I am writing this, we are blessed with glorious winter sunshine. I have just been walking on the Downs beside the sea in one of my favourite earthly places in all the world. A gentle breeze was blowing on my face. I listened to the sound of the sea breaking on the shore below me and sea gulls calling. I looked spellbound at the glorious views in the misty early morning light. ‘This is heaven on earth’, I thought. ‘When I die, this is where I shall be, with loved ones at my side’. (I had felt them there with me in their ‘bodies of light’ as I walked in my physical body.)

Remembrance Sunday has only just passed by—a day of remembrance and thankfulness for loved ones and many lives of service. The theme of thankfulness was deep in my soul as I walked, and I started to list all the things for which I wanted to say ‘thank you God’. I’m sure many of you have done this, but if not maybe you’d like to try it next time you go for a walk in nature, or an inner walk in your body of light! I find it really wonderful the way a simple ‘thank you God’ opens the mind and heart to receive even more blessing, deep peace and true and lasting happiness.

Remembrance Time

I write this on Remembrance Sunday as I prepare to go to the Temple at New Lands for our Remembrance Service. This beautiful day of late Autumn sunshine lifts my heart. It is easy to believe in heaven and eternal life. As I sit outside the Temple in the golden sunshine, golden beech leaves drift down upon our beautiful gardens... like a shower of golden petals from heaven. White Eagle has often told us that whereas the red poppy of Remembrance Day is a symbol of our remembrance of the physical life of loved ones, golden rose petals are a symbol of eternal life. Today our Temple altar steps have both symbols upon them... as we remember our loved ones and commune with them in the heavenly ‘Infinite and Eternal Garden of Reunion’.

As White Eagle says (in his Little Book of Comfort for the Bereaved from which I am reading at the service):
‘We should like to say one thing in particular to those of you who are bereaved. It is that in every case release has been the most beautiful experience for each of those individuals. It has been as easy as sleeping and awakening into the eternal and infinite garden and to life in the spirit world. Be thankful for the love and the life that you have enjoyed with them. More than this, be thankful for their release into a world of indescribable beauty and peace, happiness and fresh opportunity.’

The Purpose of Evil and Darkness

White Eagle says: ‘The real purpose of so-called evil or darkness is to bring forth good. In the beginning there was darkness, but also in the beginning God said: “Let there be light”, and there was light. All the dark conditions and inharmonies of earth are really for human benefit.’

When we hear on the news of terrible things happening, such as the abduction of the little girl April, it can be difficult not to question, ‘How can God and the angels allow such a thing as this to happen?’  I have been thinking about this a lot in the last few days, as no doubt you have too. I have just opened the October issue of our magazine Stella Polaris and read White Eagle’s words in this on the subject of darkness and light, and I do recommend this to you and also what I have written in my ‘Links of Light’ opening letter in the same issue.

Returning to the story of April, I truly believe the best thing we can all do is to try to concentrate all our attention on sending healing light to all involved, and keep our thoughts centred on the Star. It is indeed hard to come to terms with the question of why, and not fall into judgement, blame or fear, but somehow I feel we must try to be constant in our belief in God’s love and that ultimately valuable lessons are learned through awful things, and our hearts are opened in deeper compassion and unconditional love. It is also a call to our faith in the principle White Eagle has given us that the essence of every human being is love and goodness, even if this is obscured and covered up. This does not, of course, condone acts of cruelty, but I believe it is our work to serve the Master in looking to the light within everyone and helping to bring it forth by our belief in it and by our thoughts, so that the pull towards violence of any kind loses its hold.

‘Within you all are the two aspects of life, the positive and negative, wisdom and ignorance, light and darkness, spirit and the pull of the body; of earthiness. Your true purpose is to develop the son of God within your soul. We understand the conflict which ever rages in the hearts of men and women. We do not blame. We do not condemn. We see instead a process of spiritual unfoldment taking place.’  White Eagle

Peace is a Dynamic Power

‘Peace is a dynamic power. From the heart of peace comes right action.’  (White Eagle)

I am sure you have enjoyed as much as I have all the positive stories in the media in recent weeks about our Olympic and Paralympic heroes. It is always so encouraging to read of courageous endeavour and high principles. Last week, by chance, I watched a deeply moving documentary about the Nobel Peace Prize winner, Aung San Suu Kyi, the Burmese politician who spent nearly 20 years under house arrest by the country’s military junta, and became a global symbol of the power of peaceful resistance. What a moving story it is. She is a truly remarkable woman and as I watched the film about her, and heard her quiet, gentle, yet strong words, I felt that here indeed is someone who is working under the ray of the Star of Brotherhood. One thing that struck me very much is how she told some of her assistants, when they were going on a possibly dangerous trip across the country, ‘Anyone who retaliates will not be on the next trip’. All her actions and speeches are about reconciliation (now she is no longer under house arrest), never recrimination or revenge. This does not mean that she is passive in a negative way. I wrote down her words: ‘Wanting something is not enough. You must dare to do it’. She truly is a demonstration of what White Eagle says: ‘Peace is a dynamic power’. She is now in dialogue with the military leaders and says that this is the way to bring change, not revolution. She begins each day with meditation and says that it brings her a sense of calm and awareness.

White Eagle says:
‘When there is conflict in the mind there is no peace in the soul, but when the spirit controls the mind and the nervous system, then peace and tranquility rule. The love, the light in the heart, is pure spirit; and human life must be guided by the spirit. Once you can relax and relinquish your problems to God, all conflict ceases and health, wholeness and holiness return.’

'Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining'

This is really just a postscript to my earlier posting about the inspiration of the Paralympics…

I don’t know what the coverage has been in countries outside the UK, but here media interest seems to grow day by day, as we were all more and more inspired by the extraordinary courage, dedication and ability of these amazing people who, far from sitting down and complaining about their disability, have turned it into something truly positive in their lives. Such an inspiration for us all, and so in accord with White Eagle’s teaching of karmic opportunity.  David Cameron, our Prime Minister, seems to speak for many of us in saying: ‘We will never think of sport the same way; we will never think of disability the same way.’ In this year 2012, which so many people have feared, it is a wonderful example that seemingly difficult situations, and a difficult prognosis for the future, can in fact be turned around. As the proverb goes: ‘Every cloud has a silver lining!’ White Eagle says:
‘You are dismayed with the suffering and the cruelty in the world; but could you look from the mountain top of spiritual understanding you would be overawed with the beauty of God’s creation.
Always keep this as your star then, and allow it to guide your life, because today is eternity. Those vibrations which you set in motion today are your future. Take fast hold of this ideal of truth and beauty and loveliness throughout life, and you are creating tomorrow.’

At the same time as writing this, I had an email from a brother who said:
‘All the wonderful things that have occurred and the spirit generated and rediscovered with regard to the Olympics and Paralympics I, like many others, have felt so strongly over these past few weeks, and the vision of those involved in organising the games has been so inspirational and enlightening, for both Britain and the world.
‘I believe that something very, very special has been happening, and could be regarded as an example of how the Light in Britain can shine so strongly within this country and out across the globe, and help to raise levels of awareness in many ways. A truly Aquarian experience.’

The Harmonies of the Universe

‘The temples and structures of old were built upon the formation of the trees. Trunk and branch taught the builders the secrets of pillar and arch and groin. The harmonies of the universe find expression in the trees, as in your own body; and in the architecture of the temples of old you can
find expressed in miniature the Grand Temple of the Universe.’  White Eagle

Here in the UK, September has brought the golden sunshine that we longed for on many days during our wet summer. I think New Lands and the Temple gardens look very beautiful (and they will soon to be even lovelier when our volunteer Garden Gang arrive)—radiant in both physical and spiritual light as we prepare for our Autumn re-opening with our PEACE DAY on Sunday 16th September, and Harvest Festival the following Sunday.

Already it seems there is a subtle change in the air as the days move onward towards the equinox. It is the beauty of the trees which catches my attention as their leaves start to turn gold. It is significant, I feel, that the new moon on 16th, when the Sun is still in the Earth sign of Virgo of service and practical endeavour, falls so near this year to the equinoxal energy of Libra - of beauty, harmony, peace and balance. It makes me feel I want to embrace the energy of the new moon, and breathe in new harmony, peace and wellbeing with every breath…

I found this teaching from White Eagle particularly right for this time: ‘As did the great Lord Buddha, let us too at this moment assemble under the canopy of heaven, shaded by the branches of the universal Tree of Life——and absorb the heavenly blessing of peace. We stand in worship at the foot of our brothers the trees; we raise our hearts to the heavens, and hear the sounds, the music, the harmonies of the universe.’

Good Coming from Adversity

Just recently I heard a wonderful story about one of our brothers. She had suffered an inexplicable illness for many years. Then, she discovered a miracle cure using the humble teasel plant. A teasel could be thought of as unattractive. Yes, a rose has thorns and prickles, but who would compare a teasel with such a beautiful flower as the rose? Who would think of it as a symbol?

‘By chance’ Anna had this picture of a teasel open on her computer screen when I was talking with her the other day. Seeing this image struck such a deep chord in my heart. It felt to me like a symbol of our spiritual journey. At times our lives can seem full of adversity and yet, through these very challenges, we have the opportunity to bring forth hidden strength and talent, and unfold far deeper compassion and understanding for others. As I looked at the photo of the teasel—really looked at it—it became so very beautiful, quite as lovely as any rose.

The truth of ultimate good, greater inner strength and spiritual growth coming out of difficulty is inherent in White Eagle’s wise teaching and I am sure will be in all our thoughts as we witness the heroic efforts of athletes in the forthcoming Paralympic Games. What adversity indeed these brave souls overcome! What strength they find! What an example for us all.

I thought you would like this paragraph taken from Seeking Serenity: ‘Live in the unwavering consciousness that with God—good, love—all things are possible. God holds the power for you, and every experience is to bring you right into the heart of God’s love. This is your goal, and the happenings on earth are all stepping stones leading you to your goal.’

Families and Fun

For me, this week of our family camp is truly one of the highlights of our Temple year, bringing families together, children of all ages—including, this year, more teenagers than ever before—in the beautiful environment of White Eagle’s home.

The theme this year drew inspiration from the recent Olympics, ‘The Ancient Greeks’. There were such innovative and inspiring ways this was developed during the week by our wonderful group of helpers and volunteer mums and dads. In ‘our’ opening ceremony the five interlocking circles of the Olympic symbol were created by five ‘getting to know you’ groups—‘after just a little chaos’! Then ‘our Olympic torch’ was carried out of the Temple to light the fire in the middle of the circle of tents on the hilltop.

I know White Eagle is very happy at this annual event, so reminiscent of his tribal family gatherings in days gone by when he lived in physical incarnation as the Iroquois chief White Eagle.

On this first year that Ylana has not been able to join us physically, she was certainly with us in her younger and vibrant ‘body of light’. Tribute was paid to her in the final camp event—the gloriously creative and talented ‘end of camp show’. I know she was very amused at the happy rendition of one of her favourite songs! In fact, I am writing this the day after what would have been her 96th birthday, 20th August. She is so clearly with me now and in her own dynamic way urging us on in all our endeavours to ‘live brotherhood’ in our family lives, in our community service and in every way we can.

Walking in the Sunlight!

I am sending you greetings from a very warm and sunny New Lands.  At last summer has come to England and we are bathing in the glory of the physical sunshine, as well as the spiritual light.

Recently I have been walking round our beautiful cross-within-the-circle path, mown in the grass on the large field adjacent to the Temple, where Jeremy led our walking attunement on our Earth Healing Day on Sunday 24th June.  Since then the wild flowers and grass surrounding the walk have grown even more,  and I love the magical experience of being part of this wild flower meadow, with the blue sunlit sky above and the birds singing.  Truly heaven!  Many here in the UK may be preparing for or returning from summer holidays, and some of you may have had poor weather.  But what a happy thought it is, that at the inner level it is always sunny (if we wish that).  So, whatever our physical restrictions, heavenly freedom is always there, and we can walk inwardly in ‘sacred places’.  You can even come in your body of light and walk on this ancient hill top!

RE-VISITING AVEBURY

Just recently I have had the happy opportunity to re-visit Avebury (that magical site of standing stones not too far from Stonehenge in Southern England) as part of my research for a new White Eagle book we are planning. Although including some of the material in Grace and Ivan Cooke’s book The Light in Britain which was first published in 1967, it will include many new things and I hope be useful for ‘pilgrims’ to sacred places in any part of the world.

It was in June 1966 (as part of their preparation for The Light in Britain) that I first went with my grandparents to Avebury. Now, thirty-six years later, I again felt the strong ‘mother energy’ when I was there, and that this is a place where ‘the veil is thin’. It wasn't difficult to feel the presence of the great Earth angels with whom we seek to work in our White Eagle Earth Healing endeavours.

If you visit the Newspage of our website http://www.whiteagle.org/newspage.htm
you will see some extracts from many of White Eagle’s friends and followers around the world who visited local sacred sites for their attunement on our Earth Healing day. I must say that the creative variety of ways in which this time was celebrated made me really happy to read! In the days to come (especially at powerful new and full moon times) let’s continue to go to our special sacred places (outwardly and inwardly) and feel the power of the great Earth Angels there—ready and waiting to use our energy, our light, our ‘Star magic’, for the greatly needed healing of our planet.

Earth Healing at New Lands - linking with the elements and eachother

In this uncertain summer weather, we were so blessed that by 3.00pm on Summer Solstice Day 24th June, which White Eagle had guided us to designate as our Global Earth Healing Day for all White Eagle Centres all over the world, the sun was shining and Jeremy was able to lead us out onto the beautiful field near the Temple where we have our great cross-within-the-circle, mown amongst the wild flower meadow. It was a magical experience to be amongst the wild flowers, with the larks singing above, the gentle breeze, the warm sunshine, the beauty of the clouds; everyone in the circle looking so free and happy. Jeremy led us in a healing chant as we walked around the circle and met in the middle to bless the earth.

Before we went out into the open space of the cross-within-the-circle meadow, Jeremy had shared with us emails from some of our UK Regional Star Centres about their gathering plans for this same day and time. (Earlier in the day, during our Brotherhood attunement, we had linked with our sister Temples and all overseas groups, working in different time zones of course, but all together at the inner level on this special day.)

My heart is thrilled with joy that so many people all over the world realise that there is SOMETHING THEY CAN DO to help our beautiful planet. This day of prayer and earth healing attunement is ‘just one drop in the ocean’ but White Eagle encourages us that every single effort really does count, that individual drops do indeed make an ocean. People all over the world are realising how much they love our beautiful planet, and how much we want to heal and nurture it.
‘In time you will be able, by your thought power and your attuning yourselves to the Great White Spirit, to direct the light of the Sun (Son) into life; and in time this will produce on earth a great brotherhood of life. More than this, it will gradually purify and illumine this planet so that it will become one of the eternal stars in the firmament.’

Our Happy 38th Anniversary Celebration!

The years fly by don’t they? Preparing for our Anniversary Festival Day on Sunday, I could hardly believe that it is now 38 years since the White Temple on the hilltop here at New Lands was dedicated in service to the Brotherhood of the Star. Our day began with a Retreat Morning on the theme of Bridge to the World of Light, and my cousin Colum and I talked about this ‘building the bridge’ being such a foundation part of our White Eagle work from the very beginning, and now of our unfolding Wisdom School. Our astrologer Simon then spoke about the horoscope of the Lodge and the Temple, and also briefly about Grace Cooke’s chart and how clearly these show the integration of heavenly wisdom with earthly wisdom and our underlying principle of service to the whole world, and the brotherhood of all nations. I do believe that White Eagle is asking us to focus on this especially in the year of 2012—a year of great opportunity for us all. When thinking this, I was drawn to these words from The Light Bringer: We would have you realise that however simple, however obscure your own life, you have come back to earth for a special purpose. You have come not only to develop your divine consciousness but also to pioneer the pathway which will become the path for all who follow. You cannot help but develop your own character and divinity if you are truly serving others.

During the celebratory day Minesta reminded me of the time in 1966 when she first had the clear instruction from White Eagle that she had to go ahead and build a physical temple on the hilltop at New Lands, thus fulfilling ‘the plan laid long ago by the Illumined Ones behind this work’. In her everyday self she was really worried about the mammoth task she had been set. However were we to raise the money for building the Temple! She sought advice from professional fund raisers who told her that in building projects of this kind usually the money was raised by targeting a few rich donors, but she knew this was not the way we do things. Instead she followed White Eagle’s direction to write a simple appeal from her heart to all supporters of the work all round the world. As a result of this, many, many hundreds of little gifts came in, which together brought the vision of the heavenly temple to earth. It is lovely to think that our temple is built from the little gifts of many, many people—so there we are…everyone’s contribution to the light is significant!

Such a Special Time!

What a wonderful Jubilee concert last weekend! Not just the music and range of artists, but two things struck me from a more spiritual perspective. The first was the Gary Barlow/Lloyd Webber song—beautiful and uplifting lyrics and sounds which touch the heart, but amazingly he brought the musicians and singers to London to perform it. So that there on that stage were young men and women from the slums in Africa, with instruments made from rubbish, young girls from Kenya, a blind aboriginal musician and singer, alongside the Military Wives and others—creating harmony not only of music, but of brotherhood in action.
At the same time as the Jubilee Celebrations we have had a rare transit of Venus over the Sun, the Olympic torch travelling hand to hand around the country, and in N and S Ireland in particular over the weekend, and the Christ Full Moon—all this happening at once must be significant at a vibrational level and to me it is a manifestation on earth of a great ray of love and light from those working to bring tolerance, harmony and a sense of togetherness to our world. This was joyously demonstrated in the views we had of the mingling crowds down the Mall during the concert.
We have also recently welcomed leaders from our Nepalese group to England. Here they are leading some Nepalese dancing in the Temple. They are doing such marvelous brotherhood in action work with orphans and very poor people in Nepal.

Diamond Jubilee

DIAMOND JUBILEE FOR OUR QUEEN
It is wonderful to be able to enjoy all the celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and it made me think of White Eagle’s words, given at the time of her coronation in 1953.

‘She who is to be crowned wishes no more than simply to serve her people. She from her heart asked for the prayers of all her subjects. We are all praying that she may have the strength to fulfill her grand destiny. All of you, we know, will give from your heart the love which is there to sustain and strengthen her. In so doing you are bringing yourselves—consciously or unconsciously—into the aura of the Christ spirit. For not only will she be raised up, but every one of you can respond to this spiritual crowning, for upon all the people will descend a golden radiance at the time of the Coronation, for this is a great cosmic as well as an earthly event. God bless the Queen!’

I’m sure that in a subtle and beautiful way this ‘great cosmic event’ is being re-activated and re-stimulated now in the special year of 2012. I find it interesting that there has been so much thought concentrated upon this year, sadly most of it negative. When our astrologer, Simon, (Principal of White Eagle’s School of Astrology, see www.whiteagleastrology.org) gave a talk in the New Lands Temple at the beginning of this year entitled ‘2012 and the Global Future’ he spoke instead  about the opportunity we have in the White Eagle Lodge (and all light workers have)to work with the Star to uplift the thought atmosphere of the world. These kinds of celebrations do just that, don’t they! (For those who are interested in astrology, you might like to know that this work with the Star is shown in the Winter Solstice 2012 chart because the Sun and Moon in the Lodge’s own horoscope is the rising degree of that chart.)

I’ve just written about our veneration for the Queen and royal family and how we include them in our prayers, in our Lodge magazine Stella Polaris. The Queen has led such an extraordinary life of dedicated service and unstinting effort. It touches my heart to think of how much she has promoted deeper understanding between all the countries of the world through example, diplomacy and compassion! I can’t help but think that even those who are not so keen on the idea of a monarchy must be touched and inspired by her example. Many people comment on how she has remained dignified and resolute throughout many personal and national upheavals and thankfully has come through now into what many pray is a time of great fulfillment and joy with the marriage of her grandson William last year. God bless our Queen.

OUR MOMENT TO SHINE!
THE OLYMPIC FLAME ARRIVES IN BRITAIN

As the plane, with its golden painted fuselage, touched down at in Cornwall on Friday 18th May, emblazoned with the words ‘Our Moment to Shine’, and the Olympic flame arrived in Britain, I was deeply struck by the symbolism of the words in this significant year of 2012.

OUR MOMENT TO SHINE—a saying for all the Olympic flame carriers, but I see it as a symbolic moment for all spiritual workers striving to uplift the world towards a new Golden Age of Brotherhood - a chance to allow our ‘flames of light’ to shine brightly with our positive thoughts of brotherhood. It's very hard not to be caught up by any negative thought, but just to shine with the ‘Olympic flame’, but how wonderful if we can see ourselves carrying a torch  into our world! What’s more, and means so much to us, is that this flame was lit by the rays of the Sun!

I thought I'd share with you some inspirational words from The Light Bringer, which this reminds me of:
We ask you, as children of the new age, to make it almost a ritual in your life not to participate in thoughts or words of doubt, fear or negation. Be positive, be constructive, for the wise child of the living God is able to penetrate the mists and darkness with a ray of light direct from the heart of God. Always remember that the vibrations which emanate direct from the God-centre will penetrate through the mists of the densest matter. You who wish to participate in this great work of spiritual reconstruction must resolutely obey the highest command within you. You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. With heart, with emotion, with your whole mental body, you must love the Lord your God, and see in the darkness and chaos the seed of light, of God, which is there germinating. You can enter into the deepest depths of hell and there find God.

May 2012 - Welcome from Jenny

Hello and welcome

This first greeting is of welcome and introduction to our new STAR NOTES blog.

In the White Eagle Lodge I am known as ‘Lodge Mother'.

I was ‘brought up with White Eagle’ as the White Eagle Lodge was started by my grandmother Grace Cooke. I was born in one of the little cottages on New Lands estate, just across the field from the Temple (built in 1974), and started my work in the Lodge when I was just seventeen—amazingly forty eight years ago. I have just celebrated my sixty-fifth birthday! (A very happy day spent with my children and grandchildren – see my Facebook (link..). All my life I have ‘followed the Star’—the powerful symbol White Eagle had offered us as a focal point for prayer, meditation and healing; and so it feels really appropriate to be calling this blog STAR NOTES.

I plan to write new ‘postings’ as often as I can about our White Eagle work which now is truly worldwide. I love travelling and hope to include in Star Notes things about my visits to our White Eagle Star Centres in many different countries, as well as news of our visitors here, and special events in our ’family’ all around the world.

A keynote of White Eagle’s work is ‘one family worldwide’ and I do hope all readers will feel this.

With my love and encouragement

Jenny

Star Thoughts - from White Eagle's 'Book of Starlight'

'The Star is the most powerful symbol which can be used for the good of humanity. It is a symbol of the perfect power and love in every human soul. Keep hope in your heart as you hold the vision of the Star, and always allow the power of love, balanced with wisdom (which shines from that Star) to guide your thoughts, your speech, your actions.'
